 Have you heard...?

Art of Negotiation for Women Workshops:

Carrie's willingness to share both her professional experience & personal talent to engage people make this workshop for women a necessity considering the growing number of female entrepreneurs and senior executives. The stories both Carrie and other attendees share adds an important element & richness to the workshop. I walked away with useful information, tools and increased level of confidence that I will bring to all future negotiation scenarios.

Judy Adams, Essential Strategies

Any woman who has struggled and doubted herself in a negotiation should take this workshop.

Christine Kinyanjui, Telus Communications

I have already changed my way of thinking, and of course, that affects my actions. I feel more confident when dealing with people in general - it's been fantastic.

Jennifer Kaban

I plan to use the questions and tools provided in the binder as an outline before going into negotiations (mainly for work purposes). I also plan on using the material to critique and debrief after a negotiation takes place...I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and it didn't even feel like it took an entire day. It was fun and revitalizing! I'm even more enthusiastic about participating in negotiations now.

Glenyss Weeks, ALS Environmental Services

Wonderful help for any woman in any life situation. It's especially helpful to understand why we are the way we are and how to move forward.

Art of Negotiation for Women Seminars and Presentations:

Carrie is a highly talented speaker with a gift for communicating tangible, take home tools and a passion for her expertise on Negotiation. I have seen her speak at Toastmasters and hired her for my own organization to teach The Art of Negotiation for Women. I recommend her to any client who needs a reminder of their own worth and a roadmap on how to negotiate. Professional and real, poised and purposeful, Carrie will leave your audience empowered.

Carrie recently provided an excellent workshop on ‘Business Communication and the Art of Negotiation” for our mentorship program here at the YWCA Vancouver. She was warm, engaging, and did a marvelous job making the “art” of negotiation seem “real” and “doable” for all our program participants. She helped to remind both our mentees and mentors alike, that we all have unique and valuable gifts to offer in the workplace, which we owe it to ourselves and our current or potential employers to make known. Our participants came away feeling more confident and empowered in their skills and their abilities to effectively communicate both their needs and their abilities in order to create satisfying and rewarding work lives for themselves. I’d highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning more about the art of negotiation.

Thank you for last night's Connect to Success presentation. I was thrilled with how you brought together what I thought were management and coaching concepts, and applied them to negotiation. Your dedication to empowering women is very inspiring.

Incredibly articulate and smart presenter. Carrie, you actually got me excited about negotiating! I’m graduating this year, so this workshop came at a great time. It’s great to let women know that we shouldn’t be afraid to negotiate and to ask for more. Please add me to your mailing list!
           Jenny Liu
Awesome! Negotiation is an important topic in everyday life and I feel I can take a lot away from this seminar about how to improve my negotiation skills. Don’t be afraid to ASK…sometimes that’s all it takes.

I knew that if I was to remain happy in my job, then I would need to expand my responsibilities and receive a larger salary. Carrie guided me through what became a life changing process as I prepared to approach my boss for a promotion and a raise.  She helped me get really clear on the full picture of what I wanted, and challenged me to exceed my own expectations. Plus, the negotiation skills Carrie taught me enabled me to walk out of that meeting with a 60% salary increase! And the promotion? I got it, and I was even able to design my own job description!

It was a pleasure meeting you at the Young Women in Business Conference.  I found your session on women and negotiation very helpful and informative.  Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with me...and helping me to decide whether I should pursue an opportunity in a different service line within my firm.  You helped me to think about each option clearly so that I could make the right decision for myself.  I am very happy to inform you that I have been accepted into the new position and beat out many others that were vying for the same spot.  Thanks again for your words of wisdom.

What a great workshop you gave on Wednesday evening. Very empowering and really captured a lot of what many of us have gone through. Thank you for giving time to do this. I was also very impressed by your facilitation style; knowledgeable and able to put yourself in the shoes of the women in that room.
            Christine Kinyanjui
I really enjoyed the emphasis on authentic voice and how this has the potential to translate economically, socially in the quality of life, when we engage in clear directives of what we want. The importance of challenging our assumptions of what possibilities exist is a helpful reminder.
             Jocelyne Robinson
A skill that is a must for other women to reflect upon. Excellent facilitator. Clear to follow.  Raises ambition for the participant.
              Alexis Cole
This was a great seminar. I very much appreciated a breakdown of information necessary to understanding negotiation.
